6 ways to prep your home for the perfect Christmas or new year’s party

It’s holiday season! If you’re hosting a party for your friends or family this Christmas or New Year, you’ll want to be properly prepared to make a good impression. Here are a few of our tips to ensure your party is a resounding success – and won’t put you out too much the next morning!

1. Lay down a welcome mat for guests to wipe their dirty boots on, and try to create a designated space for people to leave their shoes and coats so they don’t get in the way of the festivities.

2. Store away any fragile valuables or children’s toys that could be accidentally broken or damaged, especially if your party is going to include drinking or dancing.

3. Don’t neglect your outdoor space. Any driveways or walkways should be cleared of ice or clutter to avoid accidents.
