Andy joined Jackson Green & Preston in 1982 as a Trainee Surveyor and became a Partner in 1992. Specialising in home sales, residential surveys and rental valuations. Andy has over 30 years experience of working in the Grimsby, Cleethorpes and surrounding villages. He loves to travel and explore different countries and cultures with a particular passion for buildings and architecture. A long suffering Grimsby Town fan and season ticket holder, he still manages to play mid week cricket, albeit at a much more refined pace than in his youth!!
Rachel qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996 after undertaking an Honours degree in Urban Estates Surveying in Nottingham and subsequently working for the Valuation Office and agents in the North and North East Lincolnshire areas. She joined Jackson, Green & Preston in 1998 and was made a Partner in 2001. As a General Practice Surveyor Rachel carries out a variety of Surveying tasks within the firm and particularly specialises in the provision of Homebuyer Reports and is proud to be the Surveyor to the Enrolled Freemen of Grimsby. In addition Rachel sits on the local Housing Development Board. Rachel also gives advice on sales and lettings of both residential and commercial property in her capacity as Estate Agent. In her spare time she enjoys time out with her family and the arts, particularly theatre and singing. Rachel has sung in a Choir since she was 11 and is currently a member of the Grimsby Bach Choir.
Kevin joined Jackson, Green & Preston in 1999 as a trainee surveyor and completed his studies at Sheffield Hallam University. Kevin was elected a professional member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2007 and is also an RICS registered valuer. Kevin advises clients in all aspects of residential and commercial property with particular expertise in Leasehold Enfranchisements. Kevin is a member of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners. A father of 4 Kevin spends most of his spare time with family and friends and is a keen Manchester United football fan.
Jayd joined Jackson Green & Preston in January 2017 as the firms Commercial Surveyor. Having graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Business Property Management, she subsequently went on to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016. Jayd advises both landlords and tenants on commercial property matters including property management, marketing advice and general estate issues. In her spare time Jayd enjoys spending time with family and friends
James joined the company in 2006 as a Viewing Representative and has progressed through the company ever since. Having successfully completed a Real Estate degree with Honours, he is now on the way to becoming a Chartered Surveyor. In his spare time James enjoys walks in the country with his better half and spending time with his family.
Joy works in the Survey and Valuation Department. She has many years experience working in the Estate Agency and Surveying sectors, and returned to Grimsby with her husband in October 2016, having spent the previous 3 years living and working in Surrey, which is close to where her husband originates from. Joy enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson in Grimsby. She also has a baby grandson in the USA, who she ‘gurgles’ to on Skype weekly, and looks forward to visiting him and her son and daughter-in-law as often as she can.
Judy has been Secretary to the Partners for 20 years. Her role involves working closely with the Partners, keeping their diaries and arranging free valuations and surveys, and generally trying to ensure the smooth running of their day. In her spare time she enjoys holidaying, preferably in the sun!, reading, walking and socialising with family and friends.
Debbie joined Jackson, Green & Preston in 2013 as one of the Partner’s secretaries. Her role involves managing the Partner’s diaries and typing correspondence in relation to Lease Extensions and Freehold Reversions. In her leisure time she enjoys gardening, spending time with her family and walking her dog.
