Inventory Check-in and Check-out Clerks

We currently have two positions available, based at our Grimsby office, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.  You will also be expected to work some Saturdays on a rota basis. 

This position requires a candidate with good negotiation skills, composure and the ability to deal with varying standards of living.

You will be responsible for routine inspections and checking Tenants in and out of our managed properties.  The purpose of routine inspections is to ensure the Tenants are complying with their Tenancy Agreement.  If at these inspections it transpires the Tenants are not keeping the property in good order, you will be required to advise them of these issues and book an appointment to revisit them at a later date, ensuring these problems have been resolved.

At the inspection, a Tenant may inform you of problems which need attending to at the property and you will need to liaise with the Landlord for authorisation to carry out any necessary repairs that the Tenant may have requested.  If these repairs or improvements are authorised, you will be required to arrange for Contractors to obtain quotes to have the work carried out. 

When a Tenant vacates a property, the condition needs to be compared to when the tenant moved in before the holding deposit can be released.  This is achieved by comparing photographs and descriptions from the initial inventory check-in report.  

All of the above will require you to write e-mails and letters in a professional manner, therefore, an excellent knowledge of the English language, as well as good keyboard skills are imperative.

Full clean driving license and use of your own vehicle, insured for business use, are a necessity. A mileage allowance of 45p will be paid for business miles.
